Principal Duties and Responsibilities Leads the design, implementation and administration of total rewards strategy to ensure company is able to attract and retain the best talent Serves as a champion for employee benefit programs including health, wellness, retirement programs and other employee perks Leads, supports and develops a team of benefits and compensation professionals Oversees collection and analysis of compensation and benchmark data to determine competitive positioning of compensation and benefit programs Evaluates and makes recommendations on employee benefits and compensation programs to create an attractive and competitive package. Develops and administers compensation and benefit policies, training and education to align with company objectives. Manages vendor relationships, including evaluation or re-negotiation to ensure value add and return on investment Management of annual renewal process, new hire and open enrollment planning, communication and administration, which may involve taking overflow calls during open enrollment Partners with plant HR leadership teams to ensure visibility and education on total rewards package Oversees compliance with all benefits and compensation regulations and requirements including but not limited to pay equity or transparency requirements, HIPPA, and ERISA Supports retirement plan administration including facilitating annual audit, non-discrimination testing, annual matching process, and partnering with vendors on any plan changes or updates Stays informed on trends and competitive practices to make recommendations on changes benefits and compensation programs and practices Assists in management of annual compensation and bonus planning processes, budgets tools, and systems Provides leadership and management of projects and initiatives within scope of role Audits benefits plans and deductions to ensure plans remain accurate and legally compliant. Acts as company liaison with benefits vendors and brokers Other work duties as assignedJob Specifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree 5 or more years in benefits and compensation administration with CBP and/or CCP certification preferred Prior people leadership experience required Strong mathematical, analytical, and statistical skills required Proficient in Excel and Microsoft office HRIS experience, preferably with UKG and Benefits Administration Must demonstrate knowledge in all federal, state and local employment laws and procedures related to compensation and benefits Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work to ensure deadlines are met.
Working Conditions On-site role Occasional travel may be required – up to 10% Work will primarily be performed in an office environment requiring the ability to sit for prolonged periods. Occasional weekend and/or evening work to support business needs Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
This position is eligible for a bonus based on company goals/performance.
