In this position you will participate in the design and manage the implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE Design and communicate pay structures, grades, and compensation budgets. Advises managers on effective pay decisions. Develop and maintain job descriptions and job architecture. Participates in compensation surveys, conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends. Communicates with and guides leaders in compensation decisions. Participate in the development and administration of benefits programs, and communicates eligibility and coverage a information to employees. Look for effective methods to communicat benefits informtion to colleagues and mangers. Researches and stays current on meaningful benefit options, trends and legislation. Other duties include: Benefits: Manages benefits planning and programs including health and welfare, retirement, and work life. Recommends and develops new benefit programs and administers current programs. Communciates eligibilty and coverage information to colleagues. Evaluates and analyzes current benefit trends to estimate impact on organization and recommends improvements to current colleague benefit programs. Tracks and remains up-to-date on applicable federal and state specific benefits legislation. Provides tools and information to inform and guide colleagues on benefits matters regarding eligibilty, coverage and provisions. Policy & Procedure Development & Communication: Developes clear and concise documentation and communication tools for managers and colleagues outlining compensation and benefit programs and guidelines. Provides tools and information to inform and guide colleagues on benefits matters regarding eligibilty, coverage and provisions. Compensation: Manages common compensation functions, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, incentive plan design, merit/market adjustment administration and other associated initiatives. Ensures that base pay, incentive pay and performance management programs remain competitive and conform to current compensation strategy. Ensures appropriate data collection and analysis processes for market, pay equity, and other compensation studies. Advises managers on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines. Job Description Architecture: Manages job description library. Evaluates jobs, reviews and and maintains job descriptions and job architecture. Qualifications Experience required includes: Prior knowledge of position with 3-5 years previous experience in same or related field. Advanced skillset with Microsoft Excel including reports, pivot tables and macros Education required: minimum Associates degree or equivalent specialized training required. preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Industry experience from hospitality, spa/wellness or retail a plus Software experience witth CompXL, Salary.com, Canva, HeyZine and Sharepoint a plus CCP or CEBS certification a plus WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE Use of services and facilities including the spa, fitness classes, lectures, and overnight stays at all Canyon Ranch locations nationwide.
