Summary
As a Tour Design Manager, you play a critical role on the Customized Tour Team, designing and
optimizing tailor-made itineraries for individual customers. You are a collaborative, detail-oriented, nothing-is-impossible kind of person with a passion for balancing customer needs, operational feasibility, and financial strategy to create exceptional travel experiences.


Key Responsibilities
Sales Enablement

Synthesize customer information, past tour evaluations, operational insights, and destination research to craft high-quality, personalized tours and custom optional experiences.Collaborate with Sales Management to guide pricing decisions, ensuring an outstanding
customer experience while meeting financial goals.Consult and spearhead adjustments on all pricing, operational, and customer preference
changes throughout the sales process.Produce clear, accurate, and visually engaging customer-facing itineraries that reflect current brand standards.Serve as an in-house expert on all things customized tours - educating stakeholders on
customers, financial impacts, operational considerations, and internal processes.

Product & Operations Support

Act as a liaison between Sellers, Account Managers, and Operations to ensure seamless
translation of customer needs into operational realities.Guide cross-functional teams through itinerary changes, ensuring fiscal responsibility while maintaining a quality customer experience.Monitor customized tour quality and KPIs throughout the departure season.Partner with the Product Design team to identify trends in customized tours to influence broader product development activities.

Qualifications

Proactivity: the ability to organize, prioritize, and initiate tasks independently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.Analytical Thinking: a demonstrated ability to distill complex challenges into actionable steps while aligning diverse stakeholder priorities.Communication & Collaboration: exceptional interpersonal skills to negotiate, consult, and translate technical details for audiences across the Sales, Finance, Operations, and Travel teams.Attention to Detail: proven ability to focus on all aspects of a task or project, no matter how small, while balancing speed and accuracy.Systems & Process Expertise: high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Phoenix, Atlas, and internal process flows to execute all tasks and support stakeholders.At least 1-year tenure in an EF Tours product (EA, ET, WoJo)Salary Band: $60,000-65,000 annually, no bonus potential
