Toxicology Consultant & Predictive Toxicology Technical Expert

DuPont de Nemours, Inc. is seeking a toxicologist that will provide strategic and operational toxicology expertise to support global business activities, with an emphasis on the Asia-Pacific Region. The individual should demonstrate broad expertise in the field of toxicology, with additional expertise to lead the development and implementation of predictive/in silico toxicology capabilities to support business needs.

Responsibilities:

Provide toxicology leadership, guidance, and expertise for developing and implementing toxicological strategies to support product development and product stewardship & regulatory activities globally.Function as the internal subject matter expert for predictive/in silico toxicology, leading global efforts internally and through external forums, to support business needs related to use of in silico approaches to support business needs.Function as the technical expert for all toxicology-related issues including internal/external research activities and testing recommendations & strategic approaches as needed to support global business objectives.Function as an independent study monitor on (eco)toxicology studies including relevant interactions with external service providers.Function as the technical interface with internal DuPont teams, external professional societies, and/or government bodies to support business objectives.Represent the Company on scientific committees within and outside DuPont on matters requiring toxicology expertise.Communicate findings, internally and externally, through oral presentation or written documents in a manner that is effective for both technical and non-scientific backgrounds.Review and summarize toxicology study data and literature in support of product registration dossiers, product reviews, white papers, or advocacy documents.

Required Qualifications:

PhD degree in toxicology/ecotoxicology or related discipline with at least 5 years of industry experience or a Master’s degree with at least 10 years of equivalent experience.Demonstrated knowledge of tools and procedures to successfully develop and implement internal predictive toxicology program.Demonstrated knowledge of (eco)toxicology studies (design and data generated) required to support regulatory submissions.Demonstrated ability to solve complex toxicology problems in support of global regulatory and/or product stewardship business needs.Demonstrated ability to translate working knowledge of toxicology into business-effective strategies, advice and decisions regarding human and environmental health risks.Demonstrated ability to effectively engage global/regional regulatory authorities in support of business needs. Demonstrated ability to function as a study monitor, including study design, coordination, and data interpretation.Ability to communicate complex toxicological concepts with individuals from both technical and non-scientific backgrounds.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines for concurrent projects.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.Demonstrated proficiency in networking, team building and ability to function successfully both independently and in a team environment.Travel as required to support business needs (
