Overview To provide and support pharmaceutical care including preventing, identifying, treating and resolving drug or poison related problems, promoting optimal therapeutics, and medication/pharmacotherapy education. To participate in performance improvement, academic programs, clinical research activities, and toxicology services of the department Qualifications Required Education: Pharm.D. Necessary Skills: Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products. Fine motor coordination and manual dexterity. Computer skills and accuracy in calculations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Required Licensure/Certifications: Registered pharmacy intern with the Florida Board of Pharmacy or Registered pharmacist (must be registered pharmacist in Florida within 90 days of hire). Required Experience: Less than one (1) year related experience. Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
