JR69844 TPG IP Security Operations Lead

As a key member of Micron’s Intellectual Property Protection (IPP) team, you will lead our Hyderabad Technology Products Group (TPG) IP Security Operations team.  This position is imbedded within the Technology Products Group and allows an information security professional the opportunity to grow with the business and function as part of critical path to business value realization.  You will lead a security operations team that moves at the speed of business and enables secure methods for business processes.  You and your team are empowered to continually improve services and lead cross-functional projects for the betterment of the security controls TPG.

Access management and data loss prevention operations serviced by this team protect Micron’s most vital, sensitive research and development data. You will collaborate with our research and design customers as well as global cross functional teams, some that support security processes, to ensure business continuity of services and influence supporting operations levels. Strong change management skills allow you to gain commitment and drive accountability with assigned supporting processes owners. You and your team align to business area and control changes which at times requires adjusting user guidance, user training, programmatic interfaces, logs and metrics. Maintaining metrics, KPIs and KRIs demonstrates your team’s alignment to TPG leadership priorities, risk reduction and overall progress toward agreed upon assurance levels. Your technical security background in authentication, authorization, audit and secure data flows advance risk reduction in critical TPG business will grow you as a sought-after advisor in the larger data protection community. We’re looking for an IP Security Operations Lead that carries out the Micron values, is creative, resilient and adaptable as a key contributor to our data protection efforts.

Experience

Over 5 years of experience in the following:Over three years leading a security service management team, especially in RBAC or access management or risk managementOver two years as an IT people leader, managing hiring and performance managementHands on experience as a system or application administratorOperational support experience with ITSM and GRC including maturing services, process and controls

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Management, Information Systems, Information Security, Business Administration or equivalent experience
