We are seeking an experienced Controller II to provide strategic accounting and analytical leadership for one of CCM’s business units. This position plays a key role in overseeing financial performance, delivering insightful reporting, and driving continuous improvement across cost accounting and operational finance.
This position requires a deep understanding of manufacturing finance, cost analysis, capital project justification, and cross-functional collaboration. As part of a high-performing finance team, the Controller II will help lead initiatives that support operational efficiency and long-term growth.
This role offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days on-site, 2 days remote).
Key ResponsibilitiesLead preparation and presentation of monthly financial analysis packages, highlighting results, trends, and business insights.
Oversee cost reporting and analysis including sales and profitability, forecasting, and manufacturing performance metrics.
Partner with plant and business leadership to validate cost savings, support investment decisions, and implement process improvements.
Provide proactive variance analysis and continuous evaluation of standard product costs.
Conduct monthly performance reviews with Sales and Production teams.
Review and justify capital expenditure requests (~$5M annually).
Prepare journal entries for month-end close and ensure account reconciliation accuracy.
Collaborate on monthly forecasts and annual operating plans.
Support external audit and tax reporting requirements.
Skills & CompetenciesTechnical & Financial Expertise:
Deep understanding of cost accounting, manufacturing finance, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Strong variance analysis skills and ability to bridge financial results clearly and concisely.

Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
CPA, CMA, MBA, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing finance or controller role.
Experience working with integrated ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).
Working ConditionsHybrid schedule: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote.
Standard business hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.
Office setting with occasional time in a manufacturing plant environment.
Travel requirement: ~20%.
