A Typical Day
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Specialist to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of trade shows and other events. You will work closely with the sales team and the Sr. Program Manager to ensure that events are successful and generate leads.
The TPO Event Specialist will:
+ Event Coordination:
+ Coordinate with event contacts to gather shipping information and required paperwork
+ Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to plan and execute events, ensuring smooth coordination of event logistics and contributing to the overall success of each event
+ Liaise with the sales team to share event details, facilitate travel planning, and confirm marketing materials
+ Submit booth and swag orders to fulfillment houses, ensuring timely delivery
+ Proactively address any logistical issues that may arise before and during events
+ Assist with coordinating event day production, including guest list, presenter rehearsals, troubleshooting IT, room set-up, guest check-in, etc.
+ Team Communication and Support:
+ Create comprehensive event briefs to guide the sales team
+ Conduct pre-show prep calls with the sales team to review event details and answer questions
+ Remain accessible for questions and troubleshooting during booth setup and breakdown
+ Swag and Booth Management:
+ Track and manage swag inventory, initiate reorders as needed
+ Ensure consistent branding and quality control of all event materials
+ Maintain the cleanliness and professional presentation of booth materials and promotional items
+ Budget and Evaluation:
+ Manage and track the trade show budget
+ Collect feedback on the event's success, analyze event performance, and provide recommendations for future improvements
What You’ll Bring
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field preferred
+ Willingness to travel
+ Experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a B2B environment
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and positively represent the company at events
+ Ability to make decisions and problem solve in a timely manner, exhibiting sound and accurate judgment
+ Ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively, and to conduct group presentations and meetings
+ Demonstrated strong project management skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
+ Familiarity with the mortgage industry preferred
+ Experience with Salesforce CRM

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
+ Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
+ Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
+ Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
