Track Manager

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Track Manager to lead Karting Operations for our Soon to Open Glendale Location.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Karting Manager will be responsible for the leadership of the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games facility and team members on a daily basis including staffing, scheduling & training of hourly staff, cost control, service standards, operational procedures and policies, guest relations, sanitation, environment control, cash handling, staff motivation, safety and security. 

The Track Manager will take ownership of the Track and Karting departments well as run unit operations and work to create an environment that encourages ownership and accountability by all Team Members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead team members with integrity and purposeEmpower staff to deliver exceptional legendary serviceAlways support the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games Motto “Striving for Perfection; Achieving Excellence”Manage daily operations: staffing, scheduling, repair and maintenance, cleanliness, organization, service timing, and quality product.Responsible for the development of Karting, Track and Mechanic staffProvide direct and honest feedback to staff regarding individual performanceManage staff training and employee relationsAssure that staff morale is maintained at a high levelTake an active part in the recruitment and retention of staffAccountable to maximize daily sales and effectively manage costs, labor and cash controlManage department labor costs within acceptable budgetsEnsure site inspections are within acceptable standardsManage organization and cleanliness of departmental areasWork closely with Sales Department to ensure proper scheduling and planning for EventsOversee, maintain and inventory areas of unit equipment

Operations Manager Qualifications

Required:

Eligible to work in the United StatesAt least 18 years of ageStrong written & verbal communication skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentStrong organizational skillsThe desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workdayWork varying days, nights, holidays and weekends

Preferred and great to have:

Affinity for and knowledge of Motorsports and/or competitive Go KartingTwo years of leadership or management experience in a high volume environment; either family entertainment venue, mechanic's shop, or restaurant.Proven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage all levels of staffStrong training and development backgroundWorking knowledge of cost controlsBasic knowledge of Motorsport vehiclesStrong training and development background
