What You'll Do As a Track Worker, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of railroad tracks. Working outdoors in all weather conditions, you will operate equipment, handle materials, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your work will directly support the safe and efficient movement of rail traffic. Daily tasks include: + Removing and replacing track components such as ties, rails, and bars. + Cutting rails to specified lengths and adjusting them as needed. + Sorting, loading, and unloading track materials. + Clearing brush and vegetation from the right-of-way. + Lubricating switches, angle bars, and joints to ensure proper operation. This role requires physical strength, endurance, and a commitment to working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED. + Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver's license. + Prior experience in construction, heavy equipment operation, farming, landscaping, or railroad work is preferred. + Welding experience or a CDL license is a plus. + Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and climbing. Work Environment This is an all-outdoor position requiring work in all weather conditions, including heat, rain, snow, and cold.
