Your role:

As a Supplier Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and improving the quality of products supplied to our company. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure that their processes and products meet our stringent quality standards. Your role will involve conducting audits, leading advanced quality activities to approve their products, as well as improving our Source to Pay processes through Kaizen initiatives.

We need you for:

Lead Advanced Supplier Quality activities with suppliers for new product developments based on the APQP process to ensure parts are approved on time, the 1st time (PPAP).Support Supplier Quality escalated issues in collaboration with our different manufacturing plants.Lead regular Supplier audits on different aspects: Quality systems, Special Processes.Lead improvement plans on CSR aspects (Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, Environment).Be a Kaizen agent to improve our Supplier Quality processes.

What do you need to possess for being successful? 

You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent.You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Management & Supplier Quality Management in a manufacturing industry with strong international exposure.You are process-oriented: Knowledge of (Quality) Management Systems such as ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949.You have knowledge and application of APQP, PPAP, Process Audits.You have knowledge and application of quality tools and methodologies: MSA, SPC, DOE, 8D or other problem-solving approach.You add technical knowledge on one or several specific commodities technologies/processes is a + (rubber, metal, plastic, fasteners…).You have natural leadership skills to manage various committees (from operator to supplier, CEO).You are experienced working in a matrix organization (Business Line, Regions, Central) You are comfortable in a bilingual environment (French and English) to be able to communicate orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners.You enjoy travelling internationally (Between 30% and 50% of the time).
