ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Tractor Driver you have the opportunity to prepare the tractor and people mover before the tours. Providing a memorable experience for the guests by ensuring the route is safe and the vehicle is presentable.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prep tractor and people mover before tour

Making sure both units are clean and presentable.

Make sure tractor is full of fuel.

Confirm proper air pressure is in all tires.

Check the weather for possible severe storms while on tour route.

When stopped in pastures ensure horses do not chew or damage the tractor

Monitor surroundings while operating tractor to ensure safety of all guests.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have high school diploma or GED

Must be 21+ year-old or older

Familiar with John Deere tractor model 5075E manual transmission

Able to release clutch and change gears smoothly on tractor.

Must be dependable, enthusiastic, cheerful, and professional

Must have a demonstrated interest in the Budweiser Clydesdales and a willingness to learn the in-depth history of the breed and organization

Must have strong leadership and customer service skills

Basic horse handling skills preferred but not required

Willing to work in all climates of weather

Willing to work weekends and holidays

Able to lift and carry boxes/inventory of up to 35lbs

Able to climb steps
