About the Role

As a Trade Analyst you will be responsible for providing analytical support to the Head of Pricing & Pricing Managers. 

You will drive the day to day analysis of trade performance for ASOS product categories across all business units, producing data insight packs to support decision making, and will work collaboratively with the product teams to produce and maintain commitment and OTB monitors.

What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering against existing strategy by executing deliverables against key milestones:Producing pre-season and in-season analysis packs at product category level across all business unitsParticipating in trade meetings with Pricing Managers and Head of Pricing, by supporting with the delivery of trade packsDelivering insights on external market data to satisfy internal trade data Creating 'theme' packs on pricing and price architecture to support product and channel teamsOverlaying performance analysis with additional customer data to support trade decision makingBe responsible for dashboarding and reporting suites across price status teamsChallenging existing analytical approach and continually drive new approaches to data insightsIncorporating the requirements of channel teams into data packs to ensure product requirements to enable visibility of local demandMaking judgements based on previous practice and precedence using: Pre-season & in-season performance packsPricing analysis and recommendationsProviding Head of Pricing and Pricing Managers with analytical support to enable strategic decision makingUsing variable contribution as a key measure of successProviding analysis and visibility of the end to end performance KPIs at product category & price status level

Qualifications

We'd love to meet, someone with

Commercial approach to data insightsStrong numerical acumenProven experience in fashion merchandising and/or data insightsExperience in maintaining sales, stock, intake and OTB trackers/forecastsAbility to make decisions in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cross-functionally to drive the best results for ASOS.comStrong organisational skills, able to use initiative and to work in a pressurised environmentExcellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and appropriately with colleagues at all levelsAttention to detailExcel to an intermediate/ advance levelProficient in Power BI, dashboarding maintaining & SQL A bonus is experince with external price matching software
