Trade Analytics & Support Lead Manage

Position:

JTI Liggett is seeking a strategic and data-driven Trade Analytics and Support Manager to join our high-performing Regional Chain team.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of sales and pricing data to uncover insights that fuel growth and competitive advantage.

You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering clear, actionable performance and financial reporting that empowers senior leadership to make informed, data-backed decisions. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional who thrives on translating complex datasets into meaningful business strategies. Responsibilities:

As the Trade Analytics & Support Manager, you will:

Work closely with Field Sales personnel, including National and Regional Chain Managers, to understand and visualize Key Performance Indicators. Coordinate, evaluate, and present key pricing data. Perform analysis to determine and evaluate industry trends related to specific brands, chains, and/or territories. Evaluate and forecast the financial impacts of JTI Liggett and competitive pricing programs. Coordinate results into presentable formats and/or maps for management reporting. Support the development of impactful customer presentations with a focus on dynamic storytelling and actionable insights. Collaborate with IT and Finance personnel to develop selling tools tailored to organizational levels and improve JTI Liggett’s reporting capabilities. Assist in developing JTI Liggett’s Go-To-Market Strategy. Undertake other projects as assigned

Requirements:

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, sales/marketing analytics, finance, or related fields.

Experience

One to three years of experience in a marketing, finance, and/or business information environment preferred, OR One to three years of experience in the tobacco industry.

Knowledge / Ability

Critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as a team member. High degree of organizational ability in a multi-tasking environment. Ability to evaluate and analyze data. Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) ; knowledge of Microsoft Power BI a plus. Ability to understand basic finance for both manufacturers and retailers. Ability to understand and evaluate complex pricing programs. Ability to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with personnel at all levels. Ability to mentor and train new team members
