As an Executive Director for Global Trade Operations, you will be responsible for leading large teams in CIB Trade Operations and will have functional responsibility for multiple functions within Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) Trade Operations in Manila, working in close partnership with the respective teams as well as the global business partners, the role will focus on working towards building a strong Center of Excellence across key functions in the India & Philippines region. You will be building overall end-to-end strategy and governance across Migrations, Delivery, Training, Re-engineering, Risk & Control framework, in support of CIB Operations providing a wide range of Trade finance services for all global clients. Part of your role is to drive building and sharing best practices combined with optimal and sustainable delivery/controls framework. You will provide broad based leadership by partnering with multiple work streams including technology & sales.

As a senior leader, you will be responsible to manage an end to end process, manage global stakeholders, lead strategic projects and drive engagement firmwide. 

Job Responsibilities: 

Demonstrate complete & thorough understanding of the firm’s Global Trade Operations and provide strong operational leadership to ensure overall Service delivery to the clients, enable flawless execution, smooth new migrations, client conversions and enhance overall client experience Own and drive efficiency programs, transformation, system/process improvements, focused on elimination of manual touchpoints and bespoke processes, work seamlessly in a matrix operating model effectively managing senior stakeholders and partners across Operations, Technology, Product and Client Services Institutionalize a strong governance framework locally in the region and across all delivery sites to ensure consistently strong focus on quality, delivery and enhancing client experience Build a strong Risk aware/controls focused operations and working closely with the Business Partners and Risk/Controls Managers Drive an effective, robust, pro-active and sustainable controls program, fulfill internal controls requirements as well as ensure smooth Regulatory and Internal Audits and constantly review processes to identify control gaps, manual touch points & work towards fixing these issues Plan and Manage budgets across teams and groom teams to achieve financial discipline at all times Work in close partnership across various sites and business partners. He/ she will be responsible for managing new migrations and build and leverage partnerships across businesses locally as well as with global business partners in line with the overall product/business objectives. The role involves institutionalizing a strong governance framework locally in the region and across all delivery sites to ensure strong focus on quality, delivery and enhancing client experience.
