About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Mobile or Field Maintenance teams across our Newman Operations as a Trade Assistant. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in maintenance, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to a range of mining mobile equipment.
Supporting the Maintenance Technicians, you will:
Carry out preventative maintenance activities (change filters and oils, inspect machines for wear, change components and adjust as required) Participate in problem solving sessions to continually improve the safety and performance of the department Have a strong desire to use and improve procedures and work instructions to achieve optimal fleet reliability
About You
C Class Drivers Licence essential (Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence preferred) High Risk Work Licence preferred Previous mining experience or exposure is beneficial but not essential Ability to work collaboratively with strong communication skills Ability to problem solve and prioritise in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to learn Available to work an 8/6/7/7 rotating roster, FIFO from Perth
