Job Summary:

The main function of a technical help desk specialist is to help Trade systems users and to support the cross-border flow of materials. A Trade compliance Analyst is responsible for answering questions or resolving problems for clients. They will assist with systems to support import/export, on-time delivery activities and procedures to ensure compliance, customer satisfaction.

What will you do:

Answer user inquiries regarding computer software to resolve problems.Coordinating system procedures across functions for the import and export management to ensure the execution of compliant shipments and foster a cooperative atmosphere towards customer serviceMonitoring work queues and resolving problems related to Caterpillar shipments.Answering Traffic Help HotlineMonitoring, responding, and routing to actions needed via email queuesResponding to customer and 3PL inquiries regarding the clearance process of shipmentsResolving 1st level Trade Operations support issuesAssigning/Escalating Tier 2, 3 and 4 issues to Senior Analyst or other Responsible GroupsUpdating standard procedure documentsRoot Cause Corrective Actions on common repetitive issuesProject participation when applicable

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related to the area.Fluent English

Office Support Tools:

Helps colleagues with software tools where necessary.Works with all basic office-support products.Performs first-level problem resolution before seeking help elsewhere.Knowledge in Helpdesk or customer support Expert in providing support for applicationsKnowledge of computer software, desktop communications software, operating system software

Knowledge in Supply ChainTicket and grief resolution.

Additional Information:
