We are offering a_ **_Trade Compliance Analyst_** _position. You will play a key role in meeting our ambitious aspirations for the future. As_ **_Trade Compliance Analyst_** _you will be responsible for_ _maintain and update compliance documents to reflect current regulatory requirements and update Annex 24 to contribute Open balance’s reduction. The Analyst is responsible for engagement delivery, customs compliance and quality, productivity and report management, and exception management, ensuring import and/or export operations operate smoothly and are in compliance with the Mexican customs regulations._
**Job Responsibilities**
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
1. Responsible for being in compliance with reporting management including among others:a. Open Balance report (Monthly)
2. Keep customs software updated (Annex 24)
3. Comply with policy, procedures that affect the business. Assist in providing training, advice and guidance to other internal areas as necessary
4. Revision of modifications EATON part numbers (MFG- software Annex 24)
5. Have the temporary fixed asset inventory under control
6. Analyze the following reconciliations:a. Reconciliation of inputs and outputs vs ERP b. Reconciliation of inputs and outputs vs DATA STAGE(SAT) c. Reconciliation CTM’s
7. Stay up-to-date with the Law and other customs regulations applicable to import and export trade operation
8. Performs the following activities observing the compliance of the Mexican Customs Law and Customs Regulations:a. Accurate open customs balance b. Implement new import/export rules published at any time by the authority c. Accurate & timely processing of virtual import/exports operationd. Ensure the proper control of waste management
9. Identify situations and events where formal communication is necessary; works with others to consider communication approaches; assists in the development of messaging.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
+ 4-5 Years experience in a similar role
+ Degree qualification in foreign trade or related discipline
+ Working Knowledge of MRP / ERP system as a plus – GTS SAP
+ Proficiency in Customs Law, Origen Law, Anexo 24, NAFTA, Local custom law, TLC, C-TPAT
+ IMMEX – PROSEC
+ Foreign Trade Inventory Control or in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred able to work additional hours as required.
+ Microsoft Suite skills required.
+ Self-starter/Highly motivated.
+ Able to Work independently from supervision.
+ Team player, able to work in a close team setting.
+ Possess excellent organization skills.
+ Possess exceptional analytical skills.
+ Able to work within tight time constraints.
+ Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14000 Environmental.
+ Fluent English
+ Experience in trade management performing compliance in the areas of import regulations, corporate policies and best management practices. Demonstrated leadership, outstanding analytical and communication skills, and internal/external customer focus in order to complete a multitude of interdisciplinary projects.
