Job Description Develop a trade marketing strategy to achieve defined business objectives. Identify opportunities and creating trade marketing strategies. Lead development of Trade Marketing Strategy to achieve business objectives across all product categoriesDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regional / Channel Insighting: Provides key regional / channel insights to ensure that programs / promos are executed at the right channels, targeting the right market and using the right scheme with considerations on regional and channel behaviors.
Creation of Regional Programs and Customization of National Programs: Leads in the creation of insight - based regional programs / promos including the appropriate targets & budget requirements, implementing guidelines and selling schemes aligned with the Brand's strategies and management directions.
Leads in customizing National programs to fit the profile of the region/channel w/ considerations on regional insights, competitive landscape etc and ensures alignment and approval from project owners prior to execution
Program Execution: Execution of sales and trade programs / promos based on agreed schemes and parameters. This includes timely and well-defined cascade of program to sales, effective management of TPAs, supervision over logistical requirements like manpower, timely delivery and/or provision of sales aids, supervision and reinforcement to program guidelines and program monitoring
Resource Management: Responsible for managing the A&P budget and other resources (freebies, trade collaterals, merchandising, etc) allocated / earmarked for programs / promos. This also includes proactively finding ways to execute the programs at the most cost-effective way possible without sacrificing quality of output and putting project targets at risk.
• Post-Anaysis & Best Practices: Provides post-analysis report for all programs / promos executed. This includes giving key consumer and trade insights on what worked and what didn't, areas for improvement, impact to business and more importantly recommendations moving forward.
REQUIREMENTS:
Work Experience
At least 5 years experience in sales preferably in telco industry or similar industries
At least 5 years experience in managing a professional sales team
Level of Knowledge
Intermediate in Account / Territory Management
Intermediate in Business Development/ Business Planning
Intermediate in Customer Relationship Management
Intermediate in Sales Strategy Development
Intermediate in Sales Strategy Execution
