POSITION OVERVIEW
The Trade Marketing Manager II functions as the interface between Field Sales and Marketing to lead strategic Sales/Trade promotion plan development and deployment, problem-solve and resolve issues with Sales/Trade promotion strategies that support and drive national business objectives to achieve sales & profit goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a portfolio greater than $200M in annual sales. Translate and deploy strategic direction from Marketing (annual and ad hoc) into National and market specific strategies for field sales execution. Participate in the annual brand planning process. Own Translating strategic director from Marketing (annual and ad hoc) into national and market category/brand specific strategies for deployment to Field Sales Provide insights to and participate in joint planning sessions with field sales managers and brokers to ensure one comprehensive plan. Actively provides insights to and participate in joint planning sessions with Field Sales (managers and brokers) to ensure on comprehensive plan. Allocation of incremental marketing/trade funds, develop and implement promotional event reviews, compliance tracking and evaluation of trade spending. Develop incremental marketing/trade fund programs and launch these programs to Field Sales Resolution of various, often unique, Sales and Customer issues related to deal economics, sales, production, supply chain, and/or marketing. Resolution of various, often unique Sales and Customer issues related to deal economics, Sales, Production, Supply Chain and Marketing Help with development and coordination of Sales and Customer plans related, but not limited to, new products, promotional strategies, and pricing initiatives. Aid with the development and coordination of Sales and Customer initiatives/plans related to new product introductions. Participate in full IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process across owned categories to ensure customer service needs are met; includes working with Marketing, Demand Planning and Supply Chain and managing the inventory and production needs as necessary. Participate in new item and promotion forecast to ensure customer service needs are met; includes working with Marketing and Supply Chain via the IBP process. Work along with the Category Management, Revenue Management and Digital Media teams on strategic initiatives related to major customer sales opportunities. Work along with the Marketing, Category Management, Revenue Management and Shopper Marketing and other cross functional partners on strategic initiatives related to major customer sales opportunities. Deliver monthly and ad hoc reporting for trade, innovation and other business needs. Assist in managing inventory and production needs as necessary. Attends strategic customer meets 2-4 times per year to assist in the sell-in process of category programming and innovation (new) Participate in the hiring process as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics or other related fields 6+ years trade and customer experience in Sales/Marketing. Consumer Product Goods experience preferred. 2+ years of direct customer selling experience. Advanced analytical (including interpretation), problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Will be required to manage multiple projects at the same time while managing day to day tasks and objectives. Must be proficient in Microsoft office including excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to work with large data sets including pulling and interrupting data independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Will be required to present to large groups of people virtually and in person. Valid driver’s license Ability to relocate for future advancement. Travel as required. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Base Salary: $103,520 - 181,150.
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
