Trade Marketing Specialist (Display & Equipment Specialist) in Mars WrigleyPrimary location: Hungary / BudapestThis role will part of the Central Europe Display & Equipment Team will work closely with local Marketing, Perfect Store, Category and Field Sales teams by delivering support in merchandising and space planning. This role will also contribute to cooperation with merchandising equipment suppliers and co-create local repository of merchandising best practices.
This role is responsible for supporting consistent, high quality of shopper confrontation across business models by implementing Mars Wrigley category expertise in the spirit of Customer Centricity. This role is aimed at identifying and developing of innovative, winning and cost-efficient merchandising solutions for Mars Wrigley brands (Orbit, Airwaves, Snickers, m&m’s, Twix, Bounty, Mars, MilkyWay, eg).
What will be your key responsibilities?
Develop winning and innovative merchandising solutions that will maximize conversion, strengthen MW leading position in the category and superior in-store presence of MW brands;Drive efficient cooperation with merchandising equipment / point of interruption materials suppliers to ensure that the most cost-efficient offers are provided. Co-manage display orders – coordinate proper orders circulation, qualitatively and quantitatively verify ongoing demand, run all orders archive, administer proper documentation, continuously improve the process;Develop agreed range and space recommendations to improve conversion rate for MW brands and achieve mutual sales growth;Assist in the implementation of local category & merchandising research projects;Work with customers to understand their merchandising needs and identify opportunities, regularly visit assigned retail outlets monitoring merchandising activities;Ensure that the database and picture catalogue of available merchandising equipment solutions is regularly updated.Customer trade marketing budget management (projection of needs vs targets, allocation across activities, tracking of ROI)What are we looking for?
1+ year of professional/internship experience in sales/marketing within an FMCG companyHigher education in business or technical studiesExcellent PC/Excel knowledge, with strong analytical and hands-on technical skills in the measurement and development of in-store POSMsKnowledge of Hungarian retail trade, key customers, and the confectionery marketUnderstanding of retail market research data and its applicationsPrevious experience in merchandising equipment design would be a great assetAbility to complete tasks within deadlinesA proactive approach, especially when finding alternative solutionsCreativity and imaginationExcellent organization and project/time management skillsStrong teamworking skillsAbility to collaborate on projects with colleagues from different departmentsGood oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with people at all organizational levelsVery good knowledge of Hungarian and English (written and spoken)What can you expect from Mars?
