What you'll be doingRole is onsite at our warehouse in Batesville, IN except when traveling to an event.
Help us share the Baxter story with customers and other partners at live events across the country! This role will assist with the design and setup of our booths at conventions and tradeshows in the U.S. This includes planning booth layout, preparing shipment of booth equipment and products, constructing booth and supporting the sales team during exhibit hours.
Critical ResponsibilitiesWork with our marketing teams to define event and product requirements.Help plan booth and floor plan layouts, using input from the marketing teams and knowledge of available inventory.Prepare for each show, including staging booth layout in warehouse, creating inventory list, inspecting product and exhibit equipment, and loading trucks for shipment.Set up convention booth onsite. Work with local labor and show services to ensure booth is constructed to plan and has needed electrical and WiFi.Provide support to set up Baxter products in the booth, many of which require connectivity.Following show, unload trucks and inspect equipment and products before returning to inventory.Maintain and update inventory of products and crates as well as tracking, shipping and receiving crates to/from exhibits.Fulfill orders placed by sales reps around the country to support small scale tradeshows.Help repair and maintain existing booth properties and equipment, as needed.Coordinate and interface with convention suppliers.Travel to conventions and other shows to provide onsite direction. Travel is approximately 30-50%, including evenings and weekends. The busiest months are February – April, September – October.Assist with special projects throughout the exhibit department.What you'll bring:Minimum one year of experience in a professional environment.Experience with exhibit, retail display, commercial millwork or similar desired.Associate degree preferred.Working knowledge of woodworking, electric, metal working and forklift operations.Comfortable with hand and power tools such as band saw, drill press and radial arm saw.Tow Motor License required. Desired to have or able to obtain a CDL License.Ability to learn new technology applications with training. Computer skills including CAD design accreditation, JDE and Microsoft applications. Adobe Creative Suite a plus.Able to be on feet for 8-10 hours per day; walk, reach, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift 50 pounds.Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects at once.Work with minimal supervision and be proactive in meeting organizational needsExperience navigating projects where multiple partners provide direction and resolution is required.Must be able to travel to conventions and other shows in the US to provide onsite direction. Travel is approximately 30-50%, including evenings and weekends. The busiest months are February – April, September – October.Ability to work overtime, if business requires.Baxter is committed to supporting the needs for flexibility in the workplace. We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary range for this position is $41, 600 - $59,400 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
