Trade Show Marketing Manager

About the Role

Dialpad is looking for a Trade Show Manager to join our growing marketing events team. This role will lead the planning and execution of our global tradeshow presence. The position requires extensive travel throughout the year to oversee trade show execution and maintain strategic partnerships with show organizers.

This is a strategic role, working closely with sales, marketing, and executive teams. The ideal candidate is a seasoned tradeshow professional with exceptional organizational skills, proven leadership ability, and experience managing complex, large-scale trade shows. Strong vendor management, budget oversight, and cross-functional leadership are key to success in this role.

What you'll do

Lead the end-to-end planning and management of all company trade shows, including budget management, vendor relationships, booth design, staffing, and logistics coordination. Develop and execute a comprehensive trade show strategy to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and deepen prospect & customer relationships through strategic show selection and presence. Build and maintain relationships with key trade show organizers to secure optimal booth locations, sponsorship opportunities, and speaking slots. Manage a portfolio of 20+ annual trade shows, ensuring consistent brand representation and maximizing ROI through effective lead capture and follow-up strategies. Lead cross-functional teams to create compelling booth experiences, including collaboration with Product Marketing for messaging, Creative for booth design assets, and Sales for booth staffing strategies. Develop and oversee trade show KPIs, analyzing metrics to optimize show performance and demonstrate business impact. Manage trade show marketing budget, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on show-related expenses.

Skills you'll bring

Strong passion for trade shows and face-to-face marketing 5+ years of B2B trade show marketing experience, with demonstrated success managing large-scale show presence. Proven track record of developing and executing successful tradeshow strategies that drive measurable business results. Strong budget management skills with experience managing six-figure tradeshow budgets. Exceptional project management abilities and attention to detail, particularly in managing multiple concurrent show preparations. Experience with trade show management platforms and lead capture tools. Outstanding leadership and communication skills with ability to influence cross-functionally. Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time for show execution and site visits.
