We design autonomous movement and mobility, artificial intelligence and machine learning, manipulation, simulation, robotic management software, predictive analytics, and much more.
The Robotics Trade Strategy team is seeking a trade compliance operator who likes and performs well with ambiguity, while solving hard, large scale problems in a startup like environment. You will support operations by executing on a broad range of import and export compliance matters. You will work directly with Supply Chain teams, Legal, Tax and a variety of other internal business partners, as well as external vendors, to drive trade compliance across the supply chain.
Key job responsibilities
We work upstream to proactively secure customs required data, develop compliance framework, and develop continuous compliance monitoring. We focus on compliance regulations, policies and other obligations impacting Amazon Robotics in the global geographies where we operate.

• Provide subject matter expertise to manage compliance workflow mechanisms
• Effectively lead cross-functional projects, with a focus on efficiency and scalability
• Experience writing policy, and adapting requirements to technical and business needs
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment to drive results
• Drive scalable business solutions with stakeholders, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Commodity Management, Tax, Finance and other business teams to ensure compliance
• Develop, document, and maintain operational processes and procedures
• Proactively identify and drive process improvement initiatives
• Analyzing data and being responsible for highlighting gaps, recommending solutions and influencing inter-function decisions
• Problem solver, able to troubleshoot issues independently or escalate when necessary; sense of accountability and sound professional judgement
