About the Role:

As a Trades Assistant at Liebherr, you'll be at the heart of our operations, providing essential support to our skilled tradespeople.

This role is perfect for those who thrive in a hands-on environment and are eager to learn and grow. You'll be involved in a variety of tasks, from basic administrative duties to operating workshop equipment and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

You'll have the opportunity to work with basic hand and power tools, order spare parts, and even provide on-the-job training to new team members.

Skills and Duties:

Successful candidates will demonstrate their ability to:

Use basic hand and power tools and operate basic workshop equipment Order spare parts and lubricate mechanical equipment and components Maintain a safe and clean workplace Provide basic administrative tasks Operate lifting equipment and inspect work for conformity to established standards

…And most importantly demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your co-workers!

Essential Requirements: Certificate II Engineering (Mechanical) OR

1-2 years’ industry experience will be prioritised for this role

Forklift Licence Bring a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to demonstrate initiative. Effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Work independently with initiative and take ownership of the work produced

 

Those candidates successful in progressing past interview stage will be required to undergo a Pre-employment process including National Police Clearance and Medical Screening which includes drug and alcohol testing.
