ECMS (wholly owned by BASF) operates globally in 15 countries with approximately 20 production sites and over 4,000 employees. What you will be doing + Transaction Management:Booking, verifying, processing, and settling global transactions with accuracy. + Collaboration:Partnering with Trading, Commercial, and Controlling teams to investigate and resolve issues, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Please note, as this is a global team, you will work part of a shift rota to cover the different timezones. This will be shared with you in advance + Operational Excellence:Approving pool metal release instructions, verifying depository releases/receipts, and orchestrating physical customer movements while monitoring the supply chain. + Customer Relationships:Acting as a trusted partner to the global Commercial team by resolving real-time inquiries and discrepancies with suppliers and customers. + Compliance & Administration:Navigating the complexities of VAT implications across regions and supporting global supply contracts in line with terms and conditions. + Process Improvement:Collaborating with the Operations Manager to enhance processes and drive efficiencies. What we need: + A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field. Candidates without a degree may be considered if they have equivalent level of experience + At least 5 years of progressive experience in a trading back office or a fast-paced financial services environment is preferred + Advanced understanding of trade support operations, particularly in commodity products such as precious metals and their instruments (e.g., spot/forward, futures, options, and lease trading). + Strong collaboration skills to work with diverse teams across regions. + A passion for problem-solving and driving efficiencies in a dynamic environment.
