About the position:

This Associate level risk role function is responsible for market risk management and product control of various Financial Markets trading books.  The Risk team utilizes various product specific front-office and back-office systems to perform analytics, reporting, and reconciliation, to satisfy the firm’s regulatory and minimum financial control standards.

About the department:

The Risk department is a central part of ING’s risk management framework, with primary responsibility for assessing, monitoring and managing the risk, and reporting and reconciliation of profit loss for all financial markets trading books.

Responsibilities :

Measure, monitor, analyze and report trading P&L and risks daily/monthly according to the firm’s control standard.Prepare general ledger monthly accounting entries to align PL and balance sheet as required.Ensure that the established controls are followed to present complete and accurate monitoring and reporting of P&L and Risk.Perform monthly price testing and reserve procedures and review protocols.Perform pro-active risk management by providing analysis and advice to the Financial Markets front-office.Provide support for local and global regulatory and audit review reporting deliverables.Participate and contribute to all relevant special projects and initiatives.

Qualifications and Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or other relevant field of study.2+ years of relevant working experience in Financial Markets products; equity, bonds, derivatives.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, VBA, basic knowledge in database tools including Access, SQL, and other programming languages including SAS and Python a plus.

Base Salary Range:   $85K - $115K
