Traffic Administrator
Overview The Fayetteville Traffic Center currently has an opening to fill the position of full time Traffic Administrator, a Level 2 full-time Admin position. This position requires extensive computer experience, leadership, organizational and analytical skills. The ability to work independently and with multiple teams simultaneously while prioritizing workloads is required. Written and extensive verbal communication skills are needed to support daily coordination with drivers, logistics centers, external customers, and vendors. Computer systems utilized include Excel, Outlook, Teams, PeopleNet, Transportation Manager, Dispatch Planning System. Overnight shift (9pm – 7am) – Days to be determined Responsibilities Manage internal freight loads with Drivers and our Sales Partners Work closely with our Sales Team to ensure accurate and timely delivery, along with issue resolution for any load issues Daily routing duties for internal driver load board Responsible for on-time deliveries to customers (scheduling) Booking carrier loads on-line and Local Carrier Communications, as well as communication to Distribution Centers and Plants on Common Carrier opportunities Attendance at scheduling meetings Facilitate tag/run right meetings and shift transition reports Create Dispatch Board Analyze daily shipment summary Manage PepsiCo Integrated Freight loads Backfill responsibilities for other Admin roles in the Traffic department Other Duties as assigned Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $33,300 - $53,100. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
