Traffic Clerk

2nd shift: 2:30pm – 11pm, Monday - Friday ($1.50 Shift Differential)

Maintain and organize records for inbound and outbound shipments. Manage driver assignments by checking them in, assigning doors, and completing check-out procedures after loading.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact for delivery drivers.Receive, count, and log cash from carriers, if applicable.Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure shipping/receiving documents are accurate and timely.Verify product quantities and ensure data accuracy in the system.Notify carriers and team members of pending, no-show, or unscheduled arrivals.Communicate with drivers to reschedule appointments as necessary.Enter data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) scheduler.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

Basic math skills may be required at some facilities.Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers. English proficiency may be required.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer skills.Ability to work in extreme temperatures, from -20°F/-25°C in cold storage to 100°F/37°C in dry storage, while wearing company-provided PPE and freezer gear (if applicable).May need to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.; weight may vary by facility.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, as needed.Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, which can occasionally be loud.
