What You’ll Do: 

The Designer will have experience generating traffic control designs using City Rise, BATS, TMI, Statewide, or Almendariz. The Designer will develop traffic signal design, traffic analysis, signing and pavement marking designs from general instruction to a detailed finish product. The Designer should have a full understanding of file structure, specifications, industry and client standards related to assigned projects.

This is a Hybrid/ primarily remote role that requires the ideal candidate to live within the San Francisco-Bay Area, CA.

There will be light travel from different project sites.

 

Required Qualifications

An Associates of Applied Science degree (AAS) in design and drafting technology or a related field 5-10 years of design experience including traffic control planning Experience with City Rise, BATS, TMI, Statewide, or Almendariz

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with California DOT and County design policies and procedures Working knowledge of QA/QC utilization methods

Benefits & Salary: This position pays between $46,800 and $81,800 annually and is an exempt position.

Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually. 

 Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.  May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company
