HDR is seeking a Traffic EIT to support our fast-growing Transportation group. They will be expected to perform tasks in support of traffic analysis and design including the development of studies, reports, and design plans. Excellent communication skills are highly desired for public and client presentations and document preparation.

Work as part of a traffic team under the direction of the Project Engineer/Manager on a variety of traffic forecasting, analysis, engineering, and design needs for a variety of transportation projects.Be able to perform data collection and field analysis for planning and engineering studies.Perform other duties as needed.Preferred QualificationsMS in Engineering or related fieldPreference given to local candidatesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate

Conduct traffic design using CAD platforms including MicroStation, Autocad and Guide Sign software

Conduct operational analysis using a variety of analysis and modeling tools specific to support job duties, including HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, and Aimsun

Conduct safety analysis using a variety of safety software tools including Highway Safety Software

Strong verbal and written skills Ability to multitask while working on many projects at once An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
