We are actively seeking a Transportation Staff Engineer I to join our dedicated team of professionals in Cranberry Township, PA with work from home flexibility. As a Transportation Staff Engineer I, key responsibilities include:

Preparing PENNDOT highway occupancy permits; including necessary research, writing, drawing, and design calculationsResearching code requirementsConducting research for transportation reportsPerforming traffic counts and courthouse researchAssists in preparing traffic impact studiesPrepares construction plans for highway and/or traffic signals Requirements

 

· Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering 

    · Transportation/highway/traffic emphasis

· E.I.T. certification

· Course work and/or 0-2 years' experience working on projects that include: 

    · Traffic signalization

    · Traffic studies and analyses

    · Intersection improvements

    · Parking facilities design

    · Highway design

    · Roadway safety design 

· Previous internship with a consulting engineering firm (preferred)

· Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 

· Working familiarity of AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation (helpful)

· Experience with traffic software, such as HCS, or Synchro (a plus)

· Position requires travel to job sites, meetings, and regional offices as necessary (Valid U.S. Drivers License is required)

· Has the legal right to work in the U.S.4.
