About being our Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in Traffic Engineering\n

As a Project Manager (PM), or Senior PM you will manage and deliver multiple traffic engineering projects for public, private, and institutional clients in Southern California or beyond. Work may include a variety of traffic engineering design consisting of signal, signing-striping, worksite traffic control\/stage construction, as well as traffic impact studies, traffic operational analysis, safety, parking studies, signal timing, coordination, and other planning and operational projects. Work will often interface and be coordinated with other roadway, transportation or site infrastructure projects, making communication and collaboration skills critical.\n

Responsibility Highlights for our Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in Traffic Engineering\n\nResponsible for overall management of multiple projects and utilize experience to organize and execute the technical quality and coordination of a broad range of project assignments.\nCoordinate with supervisors to provide all necessary design, coordination, and follow-up work to ensure agency requirements and quality standards are met.\nPrepare traffic engineering construction documents, development of technical reports, calculations, cost\/quantity estimates, and specifications in order to provide clear, traceable, and coordinated interpretation of the design\/drawings for construction.\nLead site visits, client meetings, QA\/QC, and coordination with agencies for obtaining permitting approvals and be familiar with local regulatory requirements and procedures.\nPrepare schedule, budget, scope of services, preparing and collecting additional services, budget monitoring and corrective action recommendations.\nProvide supervision, mentoring and training to technical engineering team; assign projects to engineers with timetables for completion; provide technical assistance and reviews the work of assigned employees.\nBe responsible for setting goals and evaluating staff performance.\nSupport or preferably lead business development, marketing efforts including planning, negotiation of contracts, presentations, proposals, RFPs and RFQs, recruiting and interviews.\n\n

Minimum Qualifications to be our Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in Traffic Engineering\n\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.\nLicensed\/registration as a Professional Civil Engineer (PE) and\/or Traffic Engineer (TE) in the State of California.\nMinimum 2 years of management experience in engineering and design with a focus on traffic engineering.\nPossess expert technical knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures with proven experience in preparing technical reports, designs, specifications, and computations within traffic and transportation engineering.\nFamiliarity with local design and procedures, regulatory compliance and agency coordination.\nThorough understanding of schedule, budget and scope of services.\n\n

Preferred Qualifications for our Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in Traffic Engineering\n\nExperience with Synchro\/SimTraffic, Agi32, AutoCAD, MicroStation and\/or VISSIM.\n\n
