This part-time role offers flexible hours and follows on-site work model, requiring regular attendance at our Chipley, FL office.  

What you’ll be challenged to do:

As a Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Coordinator you will work with FDOT emergency responders and incident management partners to support the efficient operation of our Traffic Incident Management (TIM) program. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering collaboration and improving incident management processes across the region. This an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in emergency response and incident management. If you are passionate about improving public safety and incident management, we encourage you to apply.  In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: TIM Newsletter: Create and distribute the TIM newsletter to keep stakeholders informed about relevant updates, activities, and best practices.Coordinate Meetings: Organize and facilitate meetings with responder groups to ensure effective collaboration and communication.After-Action Review (AAR): Create and participate in After-Action Reviews (AAR) for incidents to assess and improve response strategies.Quarterly TIM Meetings: Plan, coordinate, and develop agendas and talking points for quarterly TIM meetings in Pensacola, Tallahassee, Panama City, and Bonifay.Training: Provide training sessions for incident management and DOT partners to enhance preparedness and response. Examples include ICS, SHRP II, and CPR.

Travel Requirement: This position will require travel to various locations for meetings, trainings, and incident reviews.

What you will bring to our firm: High school diploma or GED equivalentA background in emergency responder disciplines (fire, police, EMS, or related fields) Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Compensation:The range for this position is salary range is $28-$30 per hour.
