Allied Universal® is hiring a Traffic Management Supervisor. The Traffic Management Supervisor assumes a leadership role, overseeing Traffic Management Specialists under the direction of the Manager and Assistant Managers. Operating 24/7, the Supervisor serves as the primary contact for operational needs, ensuring professional decorum and adherence to approved procedures. Traffic/Curb Management ensuring the efficient and safe flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic through the terminal facility at the Airport. The Supervisor assures traffic safety, responds to customer concerns, and supervises daily tasks. Incident management, documentation accuracy, and maintaining a secure work area are integral responsibilities for this role.
Pay: $21 / Hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct, supervise, and lead a team of Traffic Management Specialists in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic at the airport curbside areaOversee the enforcement of parking regulations and resolving disputes as requiredInitiate calls for parking citations and coordinate with the towing contractor for removal of unattended vehiclesImplement and monitor adherence to established procedures and service standards for Traffic Management SpecialistsConduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to team membersRespond to and resolve complex customer inquiries and complaints related to the Traffic Management teamInvestigate and address incidents involving Traffic Management Specialists, ensuring proper reporting and disciplinary action as necessaryCollaborate with Airport Authority personnel, commercial vehicle operators, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and effective communicationContribute to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures for the Traffic Management teamAnalyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the teamEnsure team compliance with all safety regulations and security protocolsPrepare accurate and timely reports on team performance and activityBe active and visible on the curb (outside), not in the terminal (inside)Work actively in designated areas and adjacent zones when necessaryQUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalentAbility to obtain an Airport Authority CredentialPossess, or be able to obtain, a security license issued by the stateA valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions onlyMinimum of two (2) years of verifiable work experience, preferably in security or traffic managementMinimum of two (2) years of customer service experience in an outdoor environmentUnderstanding of traffic management procedures and parking regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and resolve conflicts effectivelyProficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinkingAbility to handle emergency situations and provide excellent customer serviceDisplay professionalism and courtesy at all timesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to enforce rules logically and apply good judgment skillsAttentive listening skills; ability to listen to customers, offer positive solutions, and assert authority only when necessaryBONUS QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED):
