Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Intelligent **Traffic Safety Specialist** to join our team, who will provide strategic leadership, integrate advanced ITS technologies, engage with stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee quality control processes for high-impact transportation safety projects. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Safety Analysis and Assessment: Conduct traffic safety studies, analyze crash data, and identify high-risk areas to develop targeted safety solutions. + Road Safety Audits: Perform safety audits for existing roadways and new designs, providing recommendations for improvements. + Policy and Compliance: Ensure traffic projects comply with safety regulations and standards, including MUTCD, AASHTO, and FHWA guidelines. + Collaboration with Agencies: Work closely with government agencies to develop and implement safety programs and initiatives. + Public Safety Campaigns: Support public outreach and safety education efforts to promote safe driving behaviors and reduce crashes. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Expertise in traffic safety analysis, safety audit processes, and traffic data interpretation. + Knowledge of relevant safety standards and guidelines, such as MUTCD and AASHTO. + Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy. + Excellent communication skills, with experience in public outreach and stakeholder collaboration. **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** **•** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 15+ years of experience in ITS project management, with 5+ years in a leadership role. **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Not Applicable/None Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
