Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

NBCUniversal seeks a self-driven Coordinator to help request and manage Owned & Paid Sports/NBA multiplatform campaign deliverables, including live in-game elements. The Sports Trafficking Coordinator will assist with the following:

Support the Multiplatform Scheduling and Paid Media Teams to manage promotional asset requests tied to premiere plans, rollout, and stunt strategies based on programming and company prioritiesSubmit and communicate promo content needs to ensure all necessary campaigns and creatives are developed by the Sports team to fulfill plans across Paid Media, On-Air, Peacock/Streaming Affiliates, Digital, and platformsRequest and enter promo data in Airtable project management and scheduling databases as determined by the Media TeamEvaluate Paid Media Asset (PMA) document from media agency based on media plan, reviewing restrictions and any special specs/asset needs that may be requiredUpdate PMA with Promo names and relevant tagging informationCreate all promo assets: promo codes, creative versions, flight dates, lengths, and revisions, ensuring most up-to-date and accurate data is maintained/swapped as neededExecute Secondary In-Show promotion element schedules within NBA and live events, working closely with Sports production teams to ensure asset delivery coordination needsAssist with trafficking promos and banners across the digital inventory and NBC Sports Live StreamTrack Sports, NBA program scheduling changes, creative revisions, Media team needs, etc., and update all respective documents and stakeholders as neededWork closely with internal project management and finishing teams, as well as external vendors/agencies to ensure deliverables and timelines are met and assets are delivered to spec/with correct tagging Additional responsibilities, special projects, and tasks assigned as neededCollaborate across multiple internal and external teams, staying up to date with everchanging priorities in a fast-paced environmentAvailable off hours to make any trafficking and/or scheduling updates as needed 

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.)General knowledge of video production and post-productionOutstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skillsAble to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlinesClear and professional communication skills (both written and verbal)Willing to work overtime and be flexible with hours as needed

Desired Characteristics:

Working knowledge of sport media or television landscapeMedia Agency experienceProject Management and Trafficking Systems experienceSelf-starter who is assertive, enthusiastic, and highly motivated

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
