Trail Crew (Summer Seasonal, Part-Time)
Overview Work Commitment: Applicants must be available to work 10 full days (10 hours per day) during the summer. These days should ideally be scheduled in 3–4 day blocks over the course of about a month. This is a temporary, part-time role. Position Overview: Trail Crew at Brighton is a hands-on, physically demanding seasonal role. The team is responsible for preparing the mountain for winter through general landscaping, brush clearing, erosion control, and infrastructure prep across the resort. Crew members also occasionally assist with maintenance of hiking and biking trails. We’re looking for individuals with experience in landscaping, wildland firefighting, trail maintenance, or similar physically demanding outdoor work. Applicants must be 18 years or older. Responsibilities Maintain ski terrain and resort grounds Cut brush, rake, dig, and stabilize slopes Stack debris and clean up trail areas Use hand tools and chainsaws safely and responsibly Assist with other Mountain Operations projects Hike and work in steep, uneven terrain at elevation Maintain clean, organized trucks, tools, and shared work areas Qualifications Age 18+ Background in landscaping, wildland fire, trail work, or similar Physically fit: able to carry 50 lbs and hike long distances Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions Able to work independently and as part of a small team Valid driver’s license Perks 2025–26 Brighton Winter Season Pass Resort discounts on food, beverage, and retail (during working period).
