Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Execution:Develop/consolidate/update validation plans.Develop test cases, based on technical specifications and regulatory standards.Develop train system test procedures.Conduct static and dynamic tests on train systems (e.g., propulsion, braking, communication, and signaling).Perform on-site testing, including track tests, environmental tests, and functional tests.Data Analysis and Reporting:Record and analyze test data to assess system performance and compliance.Identify, document, and report defects or deviations from expected results.Prepare detailed validation reports and summaries for stakeholders.Collaboration:Work closely with design, systems, and integration teams to understand system requirements. Interaction with Train System Engineer, RAMS manager, Test Laboratory Manager and Test Engineers.Interface with regulatory authorities and certification bodies for compliance validation.Compliance and Standards:Ensure validation processes adhere to industry standards such as EN50126, EN50128, and EN50129.Stay updated on advancements in rail technology and relevant regulatory changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, or Railway Engineering (or related field).Experience:Proven experience in testing and validation, in the rail industry.Knowledge of train systems and their interactions and Systems engineering.
