KONE Finance professionals are responsible for corporate controlling and reporting, treasury, taxes, investor relations, as well as finance development and alliances and acquisitions. We support our business colleagues by driving a financially sound business direction and providing relevant intelligence for decision-making. We are now looking for a talented Trainee to join our KONE R&D Business Control team.
In this role you
- Support R&D business controller in controlling tasks in month-end closing such as result validation, actual reporting, and forecasting.
- Support R&D business controller in monthly and ad hoc reporting.
- Collect, verify, and analyze financial information to support stakeholders in making strategic and business decisions.
- Support and guide stakeholders and shared service center in financial matters.
- Guide stakeholders with invoicing-related questions.
We hope you have
- Completed or almost finalized Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Industrial Engineering, or other financial degree.
- Approx. 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the area of accounting or finance (e.g. bookkeeping or controlling).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills - ability to speak up and challenge stakeholders within R&D.
- Analytical mindset.
- Positive can-do attitude to make things happen.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Tools, knowledge of SAP, and/or reporting tools is an advantage.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
The position is located in Espoo, Finland, with a preferred start date of February 1, 2025. This is a fixed-term role lasting approximately one year. We offer flexibility in working hours (80–100%) to accommodate studies if needed.
