DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: North American Distribution Research is a dynamic and data-driven team that supports the distribution and monetization of film and television content in the U.S. and Canada. Distribution Research spans all platforms of television: Network, Cable, Broadcast Syndication, SVOD, AVOD, transactional and other digital platforms. This role is physically located in New York but will provide support for SPT business efforts across North America. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Maintain and update daily/weekly/monthly data trackings + Run reports using multiple data tools and applications + Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple sources + Grow to deliver verbal and written insights to team and clients QUALIFICATIONS: + Interest in television content and the television industry + Solid Excel capabilities + Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy + Comfort with data and basic mathmatical functions + A willingness to learn data tools and the process for analysis + Strong communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Curiosity for data and analytics + Familiarity with television data, particularly Nielsen ratings + Ability to multi-task + Strong time-management skills Sony Pictures Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer.
