Trainee Laboratory Technician

You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while completing a Certificate III or IV in Laboratory Techniques over two years—earn while you learn!

What the job looks like: Work alongside experienced professionals on laboratory testing and analysis of construction materials. Assist in the preparation and testing of asphalt, aggregates, and other road-building materials. Perform manual labour tasks as part of the sample collection and testing process. Participate in toolbox talks, safety days, and other relevant activities. Gain practical experience working in both field and laboratory environments. What you'll bring: A current Driver’s Licence and General Construction Induction card (White Card). A keen interest in both field and laboratory work, with an eagerness to learn. Ability to work well in a team environment. Flexibility to work both day and night shifts as required. Strong commitment to safety and Zero Harm principles. What’s in it for you?
