Trainee Loss Adjuster

The Role:

A unique and rare opportunity has arisen for an ambitious property claims technician to join our Private Clients team as a Development Adjuster.

High Net Worth customers typically reside in luxury houses, have high value contents/valuables. The claims therefore are interesting and varied. We pride ourselves on providing a highly personal and unwavering commitment to customer care.

As a Development Adjuster, you will learn the skills of a Private Clients Adjuster, sit any relevant exams and eventually handle High Net Worth insurance claims and become a key member of the team undertaking a broad range of adjusting instructions, eventually dealing with major and complex losses and building on your experience and the complexity of claims that you handle over time.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, dynamic individual looking to forward their career and to build their reputation in a rewarding environment.  The ability to build good relationships, respond positively to challenges and deliver excellent customer service are all essential requirements.

What are we looking for?

Educated to a minimum of A-level/equivalent standard is essential, a degree would be preferable

Cert CII/Cert CILA or working towards would be an advantage but is not essential

Demonstrable experience of dealing with people at all levels and a strong track record evidencing solid customer focus and service

Experience of dealing with property claims would be advantageous but is not essential

Excellent communicator – our brand relies on your ability so professionalism at all times is essential

Proficient in Excel and Word to intermediate level

Articulate yourself in a number of different ways such as verbal and written forms

Analytical with attention to detail

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent organisation skills

A full UK driving licence
