What’s the role about?

As part of our Branch Merchandising department, you’ll be joining as our Trainee Merchandiser, who is responsible for allocating and trading of stock within the Reiss estate (across all Omni channels); ensuring that sales are optimised and mark down reduced.

Who you are

Work experience in merchandising is desirable but not essentialPrevious retail experience is preferredExcellent administration skills and experience working with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and OutlookStrong numerical and analytical skillsWell organised with time management skillsAttention to detail and strong communication skillsSelf-motivated and team oriented

What you’ll be doing

Managing full price and mark down allocations and trading to drive high business sell across the estateReviewing trade at line level via business KPI’s to build stock levels by store, being the point of contact for trading area on product queriesCommercially taking trading actions to support UK, international, WHS, web & online partner needsActioning markdown strategies to ensure seasonal terminal stock targets are achievedManaging the timely allocation and replenishment of stock across all stores and channelsWeekly review of store and online performance to identify and react to sellingAllocation management within branch and product merch function and giving effective communication with retail team, warehouses and Visual Merchandisers to ensure all stakeholders are aligned with trade decisionsAct as a support role for the Branch Merchandising team and drive personal development
