The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, SRG has an opportunity for those looking to start a career in Non-Destructive Testing. SRG are offering the opportunity to join our Singleton business as a Trainee NDT Technician.

Full time positions based in the Singleton area. AINDT Training courses in NDT provided through SRG Training Academy. Remuneration in alignment with EA including penalty rates. Forming part of a skilled and high performing on-site inspections team, you will have the support of an experienced team. 

The Essentials:

A Can-Do Attitude Attention to detail Good Communication skills Current Drivers Licence A good work ethic including punctuality, reliability, safety focus. 

Desirable:

High Risk Work License – EWP >11m Confined Space Rescue Working at heights Further education qualifications in a trade, mechanical or engineering field

Key Responsibilities:

Providing support to qualified technicians in the application of various NDT methods during inspections. A commitment to undertaking studies. Assisting with equipment  maintenance & calibration.
