  Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Economics or Logistics Passionate about Logistics and Leadership Permitted to work in The Netherlands Flexible Hands-on mentality Excellent verbal and written skills in English You are available full-time (40 hours per week)


Become a trainee at Arvato
Your traineeship is built around a personal development plan, tailored to your ambitions and strengths. 
You will start with a rotation in Operations Management, after which we’ll explore together which of the four management directions suits you best: 
•    Operations & Warehouse Management 
•    Account Management 
•    Business Support (Management) 
•    Engineering 
Over 18 months, you’ll experience different roles and projects within Arvato. Each rotation lasts around 6 months. Based on your preferences and capabilities, we shape a path that fits you – anything is possible. 
We believe that by getting hands-on, you'll discover where your strengths and passions truly lie 


Rotation - Operations Management
During this rotation, you will be really hands-on!
You will focus on operational issues. Your tasks will include: ensuring sustainability within the organization, for example through the LEAN method or by using data-driven analyses. You will also be given a managerial role and will use your management skills on the work floor. This will give you a good insight into the subjects relevant to operations. Other important tasks you will be involved in are improving current conditions, processes or business results.
Do you have a hands-on mentality and do you value sustainability, LEAN methodology and process improvement? Then a future as Operations Manager at Arvato will suit you perfectly!


Rotation - Account Management
During the this rotation, you’ll focus on the customer and how we can collaborate most effectively. 
You’ll work on tasks such as analyzing and improving KPIs, conducting market research, or evaluating the impact of a new product implementation. You’ll also gain experience in stakeholder management. 
At Arvato, the customer is at the heart of everything we do – this rotation gives you the opportunity to experience that first-hand. 
There is also a strong focus on the financial side of client relationships, including revenue development and cost efficiency.
 

Rotation - Engineering
During this rotation, you will focus on innovation within the organization!
You will have plenty of opportunities to become familiar with LEAN or PRINCE2, with challenges in the areas of project, change or stakeholder management. Your tasks will include designing a new transport system, reorganizing existing customers or conducting a feasibility study for new ideas.
Do the competencies innovation and data-driven suit you the most? Then a future within the Engineering business unit at Arvato will suit you perfectly!
 

Rotation Business Support 
During this rotation, you’ll dive into one of our key support departments, such as Finance, HR or Facility Management. 

You’ll focus on building in-depth knowledge and skills specific to that function, while understanding how it contributes to the overall success of the organization. 
You’ll be fully embedded in the team, giving you the chance to develop true expertise. At the same time, you’ll learn how support functions drive and enable business performance through collaboration with other departments.

Over a period of 18 months, you’ll dive into the dynamic world of Arvato. 
There’s no fixed plan – but there is a clear framework to guide your journey. Together, we build a flexible traineeship that’s shaped around your strengths, ambitions and development goals. 
We take into account your experience, working style and areas for growth. Within this structure, there’s plenty of room to adapt – because both you and the business are constantly evolving. 
Arvato is fast-paced and full of unexpected opportunities. That’s why we stay open and flexible throughout the program, ensuring it remains relevant and impactful for you.

 

Soft Skills Training
Soft skills are essential for every manager – they make all the difference in how you lead, connect, and grow. That’s why personal development is a key component of our traineeship. You’ll receive coaching from experienced trainers, mentors, and Learning & Development coaches, and take part in leadership training focused on self-awareness, communication, and resilience.
Through peer reviews and regular reflection, you’ll gain valuable insights into your behavior, your impact on others, and how to handle challenging situations with confidence.
 

Hard Skills Training
Basic training is scheduled during the traineeship. This is to ensure that you have the right skills to excel in your job. These hard skills training sessions match the business unit and rotation you are currently on. The programme includes legal, LEAN, financial and SAP training, among others.
In addition, Arvato offers various training courses that can be followed online or on location.
