About the Role:

 

Are you a qualified Allied Health Worker or work within the Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Disability industries and a qualified trainer who has delivered the Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance?

 

We are seeking passionate and experienced trainers to join our dynamic team to facilitate our Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, specialising in Rehabilitation and Reablement Support (HLT43021).  To be able to teach this qualification, you must have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) and a qualification, or suitable experience, in Community Services.  

 

What your engagement will look like:

Your core role is to deliver dynamic training to students, support them through their pathway and to mark their assignments.  There is no requirement for you to create or write training content.Our Training is completed by blended learning both face-to-face within a classroom and online.  Encourage your students as they complete 120 hours of industry work placement, as placed by Stirling’s Work Placement Coordinators.Your students could range from school graduates to mature aged members and come from a variety of professional and cultural backgrounds.You will be required to work towards Stirling’s compliance requirements, such as completing attendance registers or supporting surveys.The Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance is delivered one day a week over approximately 11 months.  You will run a few of our courses over the days you are working.We are seeking trainers to commence in January and train from our multiple training locations in regional Victoria.Find out more about our Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance qualification on our website, at https://sia.edu.au/domestic-courses/hlt43021-certificate-iv-in-allied-health-assistance

Successful applicants should possess:
