XVIII ABC Hub and Spoke MTCs provide individual and collective training on Army Mission Command Systems, using a variety of tools and Army fielded systems. These systems are used to support Small Unit Training: Squads through Company, Medium Unit Training: Battalion through Brigade, and Large Unit Training: Divisions and Corps in training environments ranging from Stability and Support Operations (SSO) through Unified Land Operations (ULO).
HOW THE TRAINER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Supporting Unit Commander’s Training Objectives by preparing and delivering Mission Command training based on event / exercise plans received from the Training Integration Lead and by developing training methods and materials such as curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on consultation with client / user specifications.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares and delivers Mission Command training based on event / exercise plans received from the Team Lead.
Plans, coordinates, and executes collective Mission Command training. Assists unit leadership in planning individual and collective training that will meet their training objectives; identifies any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with the management team to ensure identified gaps are filled prior to execution of training. Updates training support packages (TSP) and products. Maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs. Supports Unit Commander’s Training Objectives by developing training methods and materials such as curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on consultation with client / user specifications. Participates in planning meetings and conferences to coordinate training plans, methods, facilities, and systems to support the training unit commander’s objectives. Schedules facilities, services, and systems for planned events. Integrates requisite Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming and Mission Command (LVCG+MC) within training environments. Provides over the shoulder training, integration, and simulation / stimulation support within 2 or more assigned Functional Areas. Achieves and maintains Basic and Subject Matter Expert (SME) Certification and Annual SME re-certification as stated in the GDIT Professional Development and Certification Program (PDCP). Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required to support customer requirements.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education/Experience: BA/BS and/or 4+ years of related experience supporting military operations.Required Experience: Expert knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter. Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs. Basic knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter. Security Clearance: Secret Clearance Required (Interim Secret needed to start)Required Skills and Ability: Expert knowledge of the principals, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs. Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills.Location: Fort Drum MTC.
