We are seeking an experienced Training, Education, and Outreach Coordinator to join our Corporate Team in Lexington Park, MD.
Position Overview:
The Training, Education, and Outreach Coordinator (Specialist, Senior) will administer the organization's Education and Training Benefits Program, create internal training opportunities, manage the organization's learning platform, and support efforts to establish and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and trade schools. This role will enhance the professional development of current employees and support recruitment efforts by leveraging educational partnerships. The ideal candidate will have experience in workforce development, education benefits administration, and outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Education & Training Program Management:
· Administer and manage the organization’s Education and Training Benefits Program, ensuring compliance with company policies.
· Provide guidance to employees on available education and training benefits, including tuition reimbursement, certification programs, and professional development opportunities.
· Track and report on program utilization, effectiveness, and return on investment.
· Develop and implement strategies to promote education benefits internally to increase employee engagement.
· Facilitate new hire and annual training by working in tandem with respective parties involved in creating training content to maintain company and DoD compliance.
· Develop new emerging training requirements.
Outreach & Relationship Management:
· Develop and maintain strong partnerships with academic institutions to understand current curriculum offerings, student capabilities, and emerging trends in job skills.
· Collaborate with colleges to identify gaps in students’ technical, soft, and industry-specific skills, providing feedback to help shape future curriculum and training programs.
· Coordinate and facilitate employer-sponsored events, such as career fairs, workshops, and panel discussions, aimed at fostering direct connections between students and potential employers.
· Advocate for workforce development initiatives that align students’ educational experiences with evolving job market demands.
· Provide mentorship and guidance to students on career planning, job search strategies, and necessary skill sets to succeed in their chosen fields.
· Track industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in workforce needs to inform outreach strategies.
· Develop reports and presentations for leadership on the success and progress of college engagement initiatives.
Employee Development & Support:
· Conduct thorough skill gap analyses across various teams to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
· Partner with department leaders to understand team-specific skill requirements and tailor development initiatives to meet business objectives.
· Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars focused on closing skill gaps and enhancing employee competencies.
· Develop individual development plans (IDPs) for employees, providing clear pathways for skill enhancement and career progression.
· Implement and track learning metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven adjustments where needed.
· Stay informed about industry trends and evolving skills to ensure that development initiatives are aligned with both current and future business needs.
· Provide coaching and mentoring support to employees to help them realize their full potential and grow within the organization.
· Collaborate with HR to ensure development programs are in line with organizational goals and talent management strategies.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee participation in learning and development opportunities.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience Required:
5-10 years of experience in education administration, counseling, training coordination, adult education, workforce development, or a related role. Strong relationship-building and communication skills to engage with educational institutions and internal stakeholders. Knowledge of tuition assistance, certification programs, and professional development resources. Ability to analyze program effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. General knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus. Experience in DoD contracting, government programs, or a military-affiliated organization preferred.Work Environment & Location:

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $84,707.20 to $127,060.00 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay range for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
