Job Description
The purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Training and Development and ensure proper and consistent training is provided to all employees, elevating and assessing their knowledge and skill set. The training department will set the tone for all new hires to support the organization’s mission and be in alignment with its culture. This position will assist with the design, build, implementation, and maintenance of all aspects of training. This includes but is not limited to facilitating and scheduling classroom training, coordinating with vendors, and ownership of materials.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with cross-functional leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to determine and develop potential learning solutions.Develop, design, and facilitate new hire, leadership, professional, technical, and compliance training programs based on organizational needs, industry standards, and best practices.Assess organizational training needs, identify gaps, and develop training programs that align with organizational goals and strategic objectives.Maintain skills by staying current on industry trends, techniques, strategies, and periodically shadow all positions for which training is provided to maintain a high-quality, relevant program.Assist with the search, selection, and ongoing relationship with any third-party training vendors.Provide support in the form of mentoring and develop the knowledge and skills to act as a Subject Matter Expert in those areas for which training is provided.Consult regularly with cross-functional department leaders to keep abreast of any changes in processes.Update training materials based on any process or regulatory changes.Look for efficiency gains and process improvements through interactions with each department.Maintain the training room(s), training equipment, and training materials.Assist in developing, maintaining, and tracking team member training records.Communicate training opportunities with team members.Ensure compliance with and perform responsibilities of the role in accordance with federal and state regulations, organizational policies and procedures, and any other relevant governing entities’ rules and regulations.Essential SkillsTrainingFacilitationTraining InstructionAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus3-5 years professional experience in facilitation and trainingWork Environment
This is an in-office role primarily based in Middletown, NY, with occasional training sessions in Newburgh, NY. The work environment includes maintaining training rooms, equipment, and materials to ensure an effective learning experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $28.85
